Apex Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, located in Bedford, Nova Scotia, is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their team. The ideal candidate will assist patients in recovering from various injuries and conditions to safely return to work and daily activities. Your role will involve creating personalized treatment plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, educating patients on home care adjustments, and staying up-to-date with the latest practices in occupational therapy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for patients recovering from orthopaedic injuries, neurological conditions, and mental health challenges.
  • Create personalized treatment plans including exercises, ergonomic advice, adaptive equipment, and cognitive strategies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on home care adjustments for injury prevention.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay updated with the latest practices in occupational therapy and rehabilitation.

    • Qualifications:

  • Valid license or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven experience in hospital or clinical settings.
