Description:
Centricity Research is looking for a casual Laboratory Specialist to handle routine laboratory sample collection, processing, and shipping for clinical research studies. This role involves supporting data management, research administrative tasks, and recruitment initiatives to ensure high-quality specimen handling and participant safety.
What You'll Do
Collect, process, and ship specimens according to study protocols
Perform various clinical procedures like phlebotomy, blood glucose testing, and ECGs
Assist with data entry, investigational product accountability, and study document management
Maintain lab equipment, perform calibration, and respond to temperature excursions
Support recruitment initiatives and maintain organized lab spaces
Assist with other study tasks as needed
You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
Have experience in phlebotomy, ECGs, and other clinical procedures
Understand laboratory procedures and regulatory requirements
Hold a Laboratory Technician program completion or High School Diploma/GED
Have prior experience in clinical research or healthcare environments
Are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
Communicate professionally and collaborate effectively with others
Take pride in maintaining accurate documentation and records
