WELL Health Clinic Network Inc. is seeking a Medical Office Assistant to join their team at WELL Health Medical Centres in Brampton, Ontario. The hourly pay range for this part-time position is $18.00 - $19.00 CAD per hour.

Position Summary: The Medical Office Assistant will work in a team-based environment to support physicians in providing excellent patient care.

What You Will Be Doing:

Answer calls, greet patients, schedule appointments, manage referrals, and handle billing.

Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, dispose of supplies, and sterilize medical instruments.

Coordinate patient care, check-in, prep, escort to exam rooms, and provide post-appointment service.

Keep patient information confidential, perform administrative tasks, and special tasks as needed.

You Have:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Comfort with computers, EMR systems, and standard office software.

Compassionate, patient-focused approach.

Reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic.

Fluency in English.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and with a team.

Experience as an MOA or certification is an asset.

Experience with EMR system OSCAR and MSP billing are assets.

What You Will Be Doing Administrative duties  answer calls and greet patients in a helpful, respectful, and efficient manner, schedule appointments, manage referrals, result management and handle billing. Lab Duties  include collecting and preparing laboratory specimens or perform basic laboratory tests on the premises, dispose of contaminated supplies, and sterilize medical instruments.Patient Care dutie s  Coordinate patient care through the clinic: checking in, prepping, escorting to exam rooms, preparing exam or treatment rooms, answering questions, providing postappointment service, monitoring the waiting room.General duties  Ensure to keep patient information confidential and secure at all times. Perform all other related clinical, administrative tasks or special tasks as required by clinic management.
