Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program.

Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Recent (within the last two years) clinical experience in a pediatric physical medicine/rehabilitation setting.

Experience within the past year of tertiary level neurorehab rehabilitation service delivery for 0-18years old.

Recent (within the last year) experience in tertiary level complex feeding, of pediatric patients, ages 0-5years old.

Clinical knowledge in acquired developmental disorders, neurodegenerative diagnoses, and musculoskeletal conditions.

Knowledge and experience in rehabilitative service, transition support, sensory processing, fine motor, and supporting independence with ADLs and IADLs.

BCLS-HCP certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent (within the last year) experience in splinting pediatric patients and custom splint fabrication.

Knowledge of community resources.

Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) general authorizer status.

Knowledge of and clinical experience with Assistive Technology and Power Mobility.

Experience in functional electrical stimulation.

Experience in constraint-induced movement therapy.

Experience in scar management.
