Position Summary

We are looking for a Clinical Assistant to support Primary Care Physicians and the clinical team. Responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, preparing examination rooms, and assisting with clinical procedures. The ideal candidate should excel in a fast-paced clinical environment, demonstrate attention to detail, professionalism, and provide compassionate patient care.

What you will be doing

  • Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared daily.
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for assessment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient comfort and confidentiality.
  • Take patient vitals, dip urine, and administer injections as directed.
  • Collaborate with office staff on paperwork, referrals, and test result coordination.
  • Maintain medical supply inventory and ensure availability of required items.
  • Use the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) daily to document patient interactions.
  • You have

  • Post-secondary education in the medical field or equivalent experience.
  • 2--3 years of work experience in a primary care environment.
  • Previous experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in patient triage and identifying clinical emergencies.
