Victoria General Hospital is seeking a temporary part-time Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to patients/residents in the hospital or community. The nurse will report to the Nurse Manager and must adhere to competency guidelines, policies, and standards for nursing practice in British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:
Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
Up to two (2) years recent, related experience depending on clinical setting.
Specialty unit nurse positions require area-specific specialty certification.
Heart Health nurse positions require demonstrated ability in arrhythmia interpretation.
Skills And Abilities:
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to organize workload and set priorities.
Ability to interact effectively with internal and external contacts.
