Women's College Hospital (WCH) in Ontario is seeking a strategic and collaborative Medical Affairs Specialist to provide operational, administrative, and project management support. The role involves credentialing, onboarding, reappointment, physician contract management, and compliance with hospital policies. Reporting to the Director, the Specialist contributes to enhancing departmental effectiveness through project coordination and execution.
The Specialist will assist in managing Medical Affairs, working closely with internal and external partners to support day-to-day operations and contribute to strategic planning. Responsibilities include facilitating credentialing processes, onboarding new staff, managing physician contracts, recruitment of Medical Leaders, and supporting process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications for the role include an undergraduate degree in a related field, 3-5 years of experience in medical administration, and certification as a regulated Health Professional is an asset. Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills are required, along with a commitment to safety and professional behaviour.
