They must have an active practicing license in good standing with NSCN and a minimum of three years of full-time clinical nursing experience in Rehabilitation nursing. Certification in BLS-C (HCP) and previous experience as a Clinical Nurse Educator/Nursing Instructor are also required.

The position involves periodic travel within Nova Scotia, so access to reliable transportation is necessary. The hours are full-time, and the compensation ranges from $50.80 to $60.63 hourly, with additional benefits such as health, dental, and life insurance coverage, as well as a pension plan. Successful candidates may also be eligible for higher compensation based on years of nursing experience.

Qualifications:

Adult Education Program an asset or willing to complete

Recent professional development relevant to maintaining currency in clinical practice & education

Evidence of adult education theory & application and leadership development and/or experience in the last year

Demonstrated initiative, effective interpersonal skills, communication skills & innovative problem solving

Skilled in the facilitation of concept-based learning, collaborative learning & practice development

Computer skills including Microsoft Suite & computer documentation systems

Physical demands - setting up rooms, walking and standing, movement of educational resources/tools with facilities & across sites
