The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care activities, including one-on-one patient care.

Summary of responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect nursing care activities

  • Requirements of the job:

  • Graduate of a Personal Support Worker Program from a Community College
  • Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • Experience working with patients with dementia or cognitive impairments
  • Knowledge and practice of good body mechanics
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
  • Work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to work independently
  • Commitment to patient safety
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Limited proficiency in oral French
