Description:

Qualicare Durham Region is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) for their WSIB Home Care program in Scarborough. The PSW will provide essential care and support to injured workers recovering from workplace injuries or illnesses under the direction of nursing and rehabilitation professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily activities
  • Support safe transfers and positioning
  • Follow care plans and report changes in condition
  • Document care accurately

    • Qualifications

  • PSW certificate or equivalent
  • Experience in community or complex care preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong professionalism and communication skills

    • Compensation

    $21--$25/hour, based on experience and acuity
