Join the dynamic Diagnostic Imaging team at Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Alberta as a temporary part-time MRI technologist. You will produce high-quality diagnostic MRI images, prepare and position patients for examination, review patient history, explain procedures, respond to patient needs, and maintain MRI equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce and record magnetic resonance images for interpretation by a Radiologist or Cardiologist

Prepare and position patients for examination

Review patient history and explain procedures

Respond to the physical and psychological needs of patients throughout the scanning procedure

Maintain MRI equipment

Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Resonance Imaging (MRI) Program or certificate from an accredited MRI Technologist program plus a diploma from an accredited Program in Medical Radiology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound), Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy

Active or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP)

IV/CVAD Authorization

Preferred qualifications as required
