Description:

Intertek (BML) is seeking dedicated technicians to join their commercial laboratory specializing in the recovery of base and precious metals from raw mineralization. The technicians will be responsible for ensuring all tasks are performed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

General Responsibilities:

Carry out method statements for required assays and equipment maintenance/operation

Analyze and report data in a safe and timely manner

Uphold quality control standards for accurate analyses

Perform fire assaying duties as required

Troubleshoot instruments/equipment as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science, BCIT Assayers Certification or equivalent

1 year of lab experience

Ability to work independently or as a team

Working knowledge of Excel and Word

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and benefits for this position range from $22.00 to $28.00 per hour, with compensation packages based on individual factors. Employees are eligible for benefits such as vacation, paid sick days, and medical benefits.
