As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will provide evidence-informed services focused on occupational performance to meet individual, group, or community needs. You will engage individuals, groups, and communities to enable meaningful occupations, support clients in achieving functional abilities and independence, and collaborate with stakeholders in various environments. You will include clients and families in care decisions, participate in interprofessional teams, contribute to quality improvement, and provide clinical supervision.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy

Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)

Current BLS Provider - Heart and Stroke certificate

Experience in urban adult Acute Care

Preferred: 1 year+ experience in adult acute care, working on medical-surgical units, transition and AGU, with geriatric populations, cognitive/pre-capacity assessments, compression, splinting, and experience at RGH
