Your role includes creating scopes of work, tracking inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute maintenance tasks

Repair small tools, automation, vehicles, and equipment

Work closely with Lodge Manager

Track inventory and update work orders

Conduct audits and inspections of building structures

Assist with Job Hazards Assessments and incident reports

Facilitate safe work practices and procedures

Attend Tool Box meetings

Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations

Join our Horizon North team, where our people are driven by a desire to innovate, do social good, and move construction forward.As a Maintenance Worker, you will plan and carry out all planned and nonplanned maintenance to the facilities, equipment, tooling, and systems. You will also request materials and subcontractor PO's, and will oversee any thirdparty technician that works directly for the Maintenance department.Your work will include:

Planned and NonPlanned maintenance tasks are done on schedule and in a timely fashion
 Small Tool, Automation, Vehicles and Equipment repairs
 Work closely with Lodge Manager to ensure plant project deadlines are achieved
 Create scopes of work, take offs, and ordering of materials and subcontractors
 Track Inventory and Update, Completed Work orders
 Do audits and periodic inspections of building structures to determine repair needs; establish and coordinate preventive rules and work practices to reduce and eliminate repair and maintenance.
 Assist leadership with the completion of Job Hazards Assessments and Accident and Incident reports.
 Attend Tool Box meetings to ensure understanding of work expectations and goals and communicate information to crewmembers on daily, weekly and monthly task.
 Accountable to the Maintenance Lead Hand and responsible for the quality of work performed in all tasks
 Facilitate safe work practices, and procedures geared towards an atmosphere that comply and exceeds a minimum Health and Safety Standard. Have a sound working knowledge of all liabilities and enforcement of all policies and procedures regarding the Health and Safety regulations for the province of Alberta.

Qualifications WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Mechanically inclined
 Work requires practical knowledge of the application of mechanics, maintenance and methods normally acquired through 46 years of trade experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
 Leadership qualities include ability to instruct and maintain effective and efficient productivity from departmental personnel.
