This job posting is for an Inclusion Support Worker position at City Hall. The worker will provide 1:1 support to children and youth with disabilities in municipal camps. Responsibilities include assisting participants with program activities, ensuring safety, providing personal care, responding to behavioral issues, and more. The worker must have a Grade 12 diploma and up to 1 year of additional job-related post-secondary education.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews participant's accommodation plan
  • Assists participants with program activities
  • Provides suggestions for program adaptations
  • Monitors safety and well-being of participants
  • Assists with personal hygiene and lifting
  • Responds to behavioral issues
  • Completes incident reports
  • Provides first aid and CPR
  • Performs duties in accordance with confidentiality standards

  • Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 diploma
  • Up to 1 year of relevant experience
  • Valid CPR Level "C" and Standard First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to provide a satisfactory Police Reference Check
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act

  • Anticipated employment dates are from June 15, 2026, to August 28, 2026, with 35 hours per week. The worker must have a Class G driver's license, access to a vehicle, and the ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted. It is recommended to have updated vaccinations for the period of employment.
