Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients and develop respiratory therapy care plans
Monitor patient progress and use diagnostic and therapeutic equipment
Collaborate with clinical teams to enhance outcomes
Provide training on respiratory equipment to healthcare providers
Educate patients and families on diseases, medications, and treatments
Qualifications:
Active or eligible registration with CARTA
Graduate from a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy
Pass the National Respiratory Certification Exam
Maintain current registration with CRTA and BLS-HCP certification
Demonstrate competency in all job phases and adaptability to new procedures
Clear communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred: Acute care and charge therapist experience, precepting students, and quality initiatives
