We are currently seeking a Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support under the direction of the Office Manager.
Background/Qualifications
Minimum of grade 12 education required.
Minimum two years experience in a receptionist or clerical role within a hospitality setting.
Basic bookkeeping experience preferred.
Proven typing and general office administration skills.
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and problem solve.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, and Excel.
Demonstrated multi-tasking skills and ability to work well in a team.
Resident-oriented individual with aligned values.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in continuous quality improvement standards.
Welcome and greet residents and visitors, answer calls professionally.
Assist in ordering and monitoring office supplies.
Field inquiries and direct to appropriate departments.
Communicate with Marketing department for resident move-ins.
Provide clerical support to management and staff.
Assist with security and reception area maintenance.
Process mail, record lost property, and track guest meals.
Maintain communication with residents, family, and staff.
Assist with programs, activities, and special events.
Create and distribute daily resident census.
Maintain contact lists and effective communication with coworkers.
Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Complete required training and education.
Participate in Fire Prevention and Pest Control programs.
