Coronation Hospital and Care Centre in Coronation, Alberta, is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Long Term Care unit. The ideal candidate will work as a team lead within a multidisciplinary team to provide client and family-focused care. The population is around 1,000, serving a larger area in the County of Paintearth. The Coronation School provides education from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide a wide range of nursing services, ensuring patient safety and well-being. Utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, you will teach, counsel, and advocate for patients and families. Your role will involve supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care and health promotion. The position offers safe, quality patient-centered care while aligning with the values of AHS.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification

Completion of required free courses if not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the past five years

Eligibility for Canada Student Loan forgiveness in designated communities

Preferred qualifications include certification in a relevant specialty area, charge nurse experience, and past leadership training
