Description:

LMC Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant/Medical Office Administrator to join their team at the LMC Bayview clinic in Toronto on a permanent full-time basis. The role involves supporting the healthcare providers in delivering comprehensive and patient-centric care.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing patients for provider evaluations by documenting medical history, vital signs, and updating charts
  • Coordinating patient flow within the clinic and ensuring necessary investigations are available
  • Promoting coordinated patient care and assisting with administrative duties
  • Managing check-in/out, scheduling, and updating patient health records
  • Handling phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
  • Maintaining office supplies, equipment, and processing patient accounts
  • Requirements

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting as a Medical Assistant, Nurse, or similar role
  • Proficiency in medication review, Electronic Medical Records, and medical terminology
  • Strong computer and typing skills
  • Compensation range: The expected compensation for this position is $18-$20/hourly, based on credentials and experience.
