The Village of Riverside Glen located in Guelph, Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a Unscheduled Part-time Personal Care Aide to join their team. As a new Personal Care Aide at Schlegel Villages, you will support and embrace the resident-centered social culture, deliver high-quality personal care, and work as a key member of the Village and neighbourhood teams to understand residents' individual needs.

To be successful in this role, you must be excited by the Village philosophy, display a caring attitude towards residents and team members, understand the demands of the role, have a secondary school education, and be able to obtain a Criminal Record Check and Tuberculosis test.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, providing personal hygiene care, basic nursing care, companionship, and activities. You will also need to be able to identify and report any changes in a resident's well-being to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Qualifications for this position include having 1 to 2 years of experience in a caregiver role, being comfortable speaking English, and having the ability to acquire the necessary qualifications if requested.
