This job opportunity is located at Foothills Medical Centre in a fast-paced Diagnostic Imaging Department, where you will provide high-quality service to clients during radiological imaging examinations. As a member of the General Radiology team, you will work all shifts and be on-call, with the possibility of rotating through the Arthur Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre.

As a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) I, your responsibilities will include performing standard technical radiological imaging examinations on patients for disease and pathology diagnosis. You will interpret physician requisitions, prepare patients for examination, produce diagnostic images for review, and assist with equipment care. Procedures may include general radiography, portable radiography, mobile and surgical suite examinations, and fluoroscopy.

Key Responsibilities:

Completion of diploma from an accredited MRT program

Active or eligible for registration with ACMDTT

Current BCLS-HCP certification

Ability to work independently and in teams

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and good judgment

Effective communication in English

Practices infection control and MRI safety techniques

Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited MRT program
