Description:

We're seeking an experienced occupational therapist to join our team in the Special Care Services department. As a clinical resource, you'll be part of an interdisciplinary case management team dedicated to providing high-quality service to severely injured workers, helping them maintain independence in various activities.

In this role, you'll offer compassionate support to injured individuals, working both remotely and in-office as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply theoretical knowledge to assess and plan health care services for clients with physical or mental health conditions

Conduct onsite visits to injured workers and external service providers

Provide clinical support during team meetings

Oversee complex physical or mental health claims and monitor return to work plans

Collaborate with external stakeholders for stay-at-work programs and return to work planning

Deliver education sessions to internal and external audiences

Qualifications:

Independently prioritize and organize workload

Build and maintain cooperative relationships

Travel throughout the region and stay overnight

Educate, consult, and motivate others

Possess a master's degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration in British Columbia

Minimum six years of clinical OT experience

Hold a valid B.C. driver's license

Before employment, meeting legal requirements under the Criminal Records Review Act is necessary. Additionally, confirming eligibility to work in Canada is essential.

A master's degree in Occupational Therapy, and current registration in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia
 A minimum of six years of clinical OT experience in practical areas such as physical health, neurology, mental health, brain injury, amputation, or spinal cord injury
 This team provides services to injured workers throughout the province; you must be able to travel
 A valid B.C. driver's license
