They are currently seeking Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide care in the Bancroft/Coe Hill, ON area. PSWs play a crucial role in supporting patients in home and community settings by assisting with daily living activities under the supervision of the Personal Support Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care, household tasks, respite care, medication assistance, and special functions

Promote a safe environment by demonstrating proper body mechanics and home safety

Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients

Prepare nutritious meals and snacks as per care plan

Qualifications:

Desire to make a difference in patients' lives

Exceptional interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Availability for non-traditional hours and weekends

Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance

Valid certificate as a PSW or related healthcare field

What The Role Involves

Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care (rise and retire), assistance with household tasks, respite care, medication assistance, special functions
 Promoting a safe environment by demonstrating proper body mechanics, safe transfer techniques, and home safety
 Providing cognitive, social and/or emotional support to the patient
 Preparing nutritious, varied and economical meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan, using proper food preparation, storage, and hygiene practices.

 Availability to work nontraditional hours, such as early morning, evenings, and alternate weekends

 Valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program
