As a Registered Nurse, you will provide nursing services to patients, families, and communities, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, and problem-solving, while teaching, counseling, and advocating for patients. The role supports an integrated approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance, reflecting AHS values. Provisional Permit holders will be paid a specific rate until obtaining a full license.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical support, advice, direction, and input into health promotion, safety, hygiene, and disease/injury prevention programs

Act as a healthcare provider for AHS staff and representatives

Ensure confidentiality of health information

Assist in implementing program and policy strategies for workplace health and safety

Deliver programs and services to staff and managers, including Occupational Immunizations

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program

Active or eligible for registration with CRNA

Current BCLS-HCP certification

Minimum of Nursing Diploma or Bachelor's Degree with RN designation

Occupational Health Nursing Post Diploma/Degree Certificate

Audiometric Technician Training

Minimum of three years' experience in Occupational Health Nursing

Facilitation and/or coordination experience in project planning

Preferred: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Occupational Health Nursing in a large organization

Preference may be given to candidates Certified in COHN(C) through CNA
