As a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Juravinski Hospital, you will work in various specialized areas such as level 3 critical care, level 2 step down, emergency department, and inpatient wards. There are opportunities for advanced training to join the Critical Care Response Team (RACE) once you gain the necessary experience.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy
Current Registration, in good standing with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO)
Successful completion of the RT Exam, Health Professional Testing Canada (HPTC)
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
Demonstrated proficiency in working with patients, families, peers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Demonstrated organizational skills, leadership abilities, and ongoing professional development
Ability to perform well in high-stress situations
Demonstrated current knowledge of cardiac and respiratory arrest procedures
EPIC hospital information system experience preferred
