LMC Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant/Medical Office Administrator to join their team at the LMC Oakville clinic in Ontario. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical office environment and be proficient in medication review, Electronic Medical Records, medical terminology, computer skills, and typing.
Responsibilities:
Prepares patients for provider evaluations
Manages patient records and medication lists
Coordinates patient flow within the clinic
Promotes comprehensive patient care
Prepares examination rooms and downloads diabetes devices
Attends meetings and assists with administrative duties
Performs check-in and check-out duties
Manages phone calls, emails, and provider schedules
Coordinates patient visits and investigations
Handles referrals, appointments, and patient concerns
Maintains office supplies and equipment
Processes accounts receivables and payables
Completes forms and letters in compliance with legal requirements
Assists with administrative duties and cross-training
Requirements:
Previous experience in a related healthcare field
Proficient in medication review and Electronic Medical Records
Knowledge of medical terminology
Computer and typing skills
The compensation range for this position is $18-$20 hourly, based on credentials, experience, and location.
