Key Responsibilities:

Analyze geospatial data including boundary surveys, LiDAR point cloud data, and topographic mapping

Create 3D terrain models for detailed site development design

Prepare substation layout drawings using CAD software

Assist with the design of access roads, ditching, and site drainage

Ensure designs comply with regulations and environmental standards

Prepare detailed civil design packages

Review geotechnical reports and coordinate with consultants

Develop structural steel and foundation details

Support multi-disciplinary teams

Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions

Qualifications:

Civil Engineering Technologist Diploma

Full CET membership with TechNova or eligible for transfer

Experience with 3D modeling software and CAD tools

Knowledge of construction methods and materials

Proficiency with structural analysis and foundation design

Familiarity with drafting standards and design documentation practices

Self-directed approach to learning emerging technologies
