 Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary teams on strategic initiatives, quality improvement, and accreditation.
 Ensure adherence to professional, legal, and organizational standards of nursing practice.
 Mentor and support team members through recruitment, training, performance management, and ongoing development.
 Foster strong partnerships with families, health authorities, contracted service providers, and community stakeholders.
 Participate in organizational planning, risk management, and budget development for resident care services.
 Maintain accurate documentation and reporting systems to ensure effective communication and accountability.
 Serve as a key resource in emergency preparedness, safety protocols, and health &amp; safety compliance

Requirements

Graduate of a recognized school of nursing
 Bachelor of Science in Nursing
 Current RN registration in good standing with BCCNM
 Coursework in Leadership and Management
 Minimum two years' nursing experience in gerontology
 At least five years' experience in health care management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
