Description:

This Occupational Therapy Interventionist position within the Calgary Zone Integrated Home Care Program, Adults Team, focuses on providing client-centered care using a strengths-based approach. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with clients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to develop care plans, set goals, and provide direct care.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will engage in evidence-informed services to support individuals, groups, and communities in achieving meaningful occupations. This includes promoting self-care, productivity, and leisure activities while enhancing functional abilities and independence. You will provide a range of services, including assessment, treatment, education, and collaboration with stakeholders in various environments.

Additionally, you will play a role in quality improvement initiatives, peer mentoring, and supervising students. Clinical supervision of Therapy Assistants and Therapy Aides may also be part of the responsibilities.
