This position is based in Alberta Health Services in the Acute Care at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital. Proven leadership skills and a passion for your team as well as excellent client care is essential for this very rewarding position. Alberta Health Services also offers extensive leadership training available through Mylearning link. You will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of resources and client care needs. Supporting and developing new staff and students in orientation. You have the support of an on site Clinical Lead for Occupational Therapy and the manager. Key Responsibilities:

  • As an Occupational Therapist II, you will be responsible for the coordination of occupational therapy and other allied health clinical services within a program or service area.
  • You will provide supervision of students and team members as assigned.
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience.
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
  • A proven track record of excellent communication skills, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ideal candidate will have had leadership experience, and at least 5 years of work experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
