Role Overview

The Claims &amp; Care Specialist is a licensed, client and partnerfacing role responsible for supporting policy servicing, coverage inquiries, and claims processing. Reporting to the VP of Claims &amp; Care, this role sits at the intersection of claims operations, policy servicing, and client partner support.

Key Responsibilities

Client Partner Support

Serve as a primary point of contact for external partners, handling coverage questions, policy inquiries, and issue resolution via phone and email
 Provide clear, accurate explanations of policy terms, coverage, and servicing processes
 Support troubleshooting and escalations in collaboration with internal teams
 Build and maintain strong professional relationships through consistent, solutionoriented communication

Policy Services &amp; Ongoing Support

Support policyholders following policy issuance, including policy maintenance and general servicing inquiries
 Assist clients in understanding coverage, policy changes, and required documentation
 Ensure all servicing activities meet regulatory requirements and internal service standards
 Accurately document all interactions and actions in internal systems

Claims Operations

Manage claims intake, documentation review, and processing in accordance with policy terms and internal procedures
 Communicate claim requirements, status updates, and outcomes clearly and professionally
 Identify potential coverage issues or risks and escalate appropriately
 Support timely claim resolution while maintaining quality, compliance, and customer experience expectations

Qualifications &amp; Experience

Active Level 1 or higher General Insurance Agent license (required)
 Experience in insurance servicing, claims handling, or licensed client support
 Solid understanding of insurance coverage, policy administration, and claims processes
 Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) and comfort working across multiple systems
 Strong verbal and written communication skills
 High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills
 Ability to exercise sound judgment while managing competing priorities
