Description:

Victoria General Hospital is seeking a Dietitian to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating medical nutritional therapy for patients, as well as providing instruction and counseling on nutritional requirements and food planning. The Dietitian will report to the Coordinator of Nutrition Services and work to continuously improve quality and safety in patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in dietetics/nutrition or equivalent

Completion of an accredited dietetic internship program

Current licensure with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC

Eligible for membership with the Dietitians of Canada

Experience as a practicing Dietitian preferred

Evidence of ongoing professional development

Skills And Abilities:

Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and medical staff

Coordinate activities and liaise with various departments

Organize workload, set priorities, and work independently
