Qualifications:

Successful completion of a recognized Medical Radiography program.

Certification in Radiological Technology and/or certified with The Order of Technologists in Medical Imaging, Radio-Oncology, and Medical Electrophysiology of Quebec.

Eligible for membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.

Broad knowledge of radiological technology theory and practices within a patient/family-centered model of care.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.

Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

Successful completion of a recognized Medical Radiography program.
 Successful completion of the CAMRT certification exam in Radiological Technology and/or certified with The Order of Technologists in Medical Imaging, RadioOncology and Medical Electrophysiology of Quebec (OTIMROEPMQ) in Radiodiagnosis.
 Eligible for membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.

Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities

Broad knowledge of applicable CAMRT standards of practice and clinical practice guidelines.
 Broad knowledge of radiological technology theory and practices within a patient/family centred model of care.
 Demonstrated knowledge and practice of safe work procedures with diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging equipment.
 Demonstrated ability to perform radiographic examinations in compliance with departmental standards.
 Demonstrated knowledge of evidencebased practice related to the designated modality.
