Successful candidates will have a Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario, a valid Basic Life Support certification, and a minimum of 3-4 years of med/surg work experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients and the community in managing clinical conditions and transitions

Act as a resource for members of the care team

Qualifications:

Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario

Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Minimum of 3-4 years med/surg work experience

Functional level in both official languages (oral and written in English; oral in French)

Superior interpersonal organizational and communication skills

Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team

Leadership and decision-making skills

Excellent patient assessment, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to develop, implement, evaluate, and adapt a therapeutic nursing plan
