Are you a physician interested in playing a leadership role in preventing workplace injury and disease in British Columbia? WorkSafeBC is seeking a Medical Advisor to join their team in the Medical Services department. In this role, you will work with adjudicative staff, occupational safety officers, and community physicians to assist injured workers in their recovery, rehabilitation, and safe return to work. Your responsibilities will include providing medico-legal opinions and recommendations on workers' medical conditions, causes, and treatments.

You will evaluate medical impairments, provide evidence-based medical recommendations, collaborate with community physicians, and work in a team environment. WorkSafeBC offers a hybrid work model with flexible scheduling options.

Qualifications:

Eligible for full licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia

Eligible for full licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
 A minimum of five years of experience in clinical practice including family medicine, sports medicine, or emergency medicine and an an interest in rehabilitation, mental health, or occupational medicine
