The Medical Office Assistant (Remote) is a crucial position that supports daily administrative operations within the program. Responsibilities include providing top-notch clerical and administrative assistance, maintaining precise data, and facilitating effective communication among patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide cross-functional administrative support, such as data processing, report preparation, meeting coordination, and general office management.
Handle inbound communications (calls, emails, faxes) in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate and complete records in electronic medical record (EMR) and database systems.
Prepare and distribute program documents and materials as required.
Assist field and clinical staff with administrative and documentation tasks.
Ensure data integrity and consistency through regular reviews and updates.
Process and report Adverse Events/Serious Adverse Events (AE/SAE) in accordance with established SOPs.
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Prior experience in a medical office or patient support program is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, organization, and customer service abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic databases, and phone systems.
Ability to multitask and adapt efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Demonstrated capability to handle confidential information with discretion.
A proactive team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
