Description:

The Manager, Clinical Operations position at Vancouver Coastal Health offers a salary range of CAD $59.59/Hr. - CAD $85.65/Hr. This role involves providing clinical and operational leadership to a frontline clinical patient care department or health program. The Manager will oversee multidisciplinary teams in an acute and/or community-based setting, focusing on operations management, planning, and quality improvement. They will also address client needs and ensure a smooth transition from acute care to community health services.

Qualifications:

  • Baccalaureate (Masters preferred) in a relevant clinical professional area with 7-10 years of recent, related clinical and progressive leadership experience
  • Current registration/membership with a recognized professional association
  • Basic computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders and develop, manage, and evaluate clinical programs
  • Strong relationships with internal and external partners to enhance services with sensitivity to diversity and indigenous lens
  • Ability to understand available resources and prioritize quality in resource utilization decisions
  • Facilitation, collaboration, and negotiation skills for resolving human resource issues
  • Promotion of clinical research opportunities and evidence-based practice within an interdisciplinary team
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
