Shared Health is seeking a Health Care Aide to work at the Selkirk Mental Health Centre in Winnipeg. The HCA will provide direct care to patients, assist with activities of daily living, and support patient goal acquisition. The ideal candidate will have experience in a mental health setting or working with individuals with physical and cognitive impairments.

Minimum qualifications include a Grade 10 education and successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course. The HCA must demonstrate effective communication skills, knowledge of relevant workplace safety requirements, and the ability to prioritize care for patients. Knowledge of Indigenous customs and values is preferred.

The position requires moderate to heavy physical effort, including standing, transferring patients, and working evening, night, or weekend shifts. The successful candidate must undergo Criminal Records, Child Abuse Registry, and Adult Abuse Registry checks.
