As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will provide evidence-informed services, focusing on occupational performance for individuals, groups, or communities. You may serve as a direct service provider, consultant, educator, or advocate, and work as a key member of the healthcare team. Your role will involve enabling meaningful occupations, including self-care, productivity, and leisure, while supporting clients in achieving optimal functional abilities and independence. This includes comprehensive services such as triage, assessment, treatment, education, and collaboration with stakeholders in various environments.

You will engage clients and families as active participants in their care, collaborating on rehabilitation plans and participating in interprofessional teams to enhance services. Additionally, you will contribute to quality improvement initiatives, provide clinical supervision, and mentor students in the field.
