Qualifications Requirements:

Completion of PSW training program and relevant experience

Knowledge of caregiving principles and customer service

Ability to communicate in English; additional language skills an asset

Physically able to assist clients with movement and lifting

Reliable transportation and clear background checks

Compliance with vaccination and health requirements

Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including but not limited to cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general household management
 Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events
 Administer personal care services in accordance with the care plan directives
 Ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients to the highest possible standard
 Assist clients with activities of daily living, tailored to meet their specific needs
 Perform specialized procedures for clients where training has been provided while demonstrating current competency

Qualifications Requirements:

Completion of formal, accredited PSW training program &amp; relevant experience
 Strong knowledge of the principles of caregiving as well as well as customer service.
 Able to communicate in spoken and written English; French/Spanish/Portuguese/Italian/Cantonese/Mandarin proficiency will be deemed an asset
 Provide highquality care services to clients with current knowledge of practices for community care
 Physically assist clients with movement and/or repositioning; able to lift 23 kgs., squat, bend, stand and reach
 Reliable mode of transportation; driver's license and automobile considered as an asset
 Able to produce a clear Criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check
 Able to produce a clear TB Skin test or Chest XRay
 Able to produce a clear up to date MMR Vaccination records
