As a Health Care Aide (HCA) at Assisted Living Alberta, you will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team providing personal assistance to patients in accordance with care plans and facility policies. You will work closely with patients, families, and caregivers in various settings to meet their needs and ensure their well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal assistance and support services to patients
Assist nurses with routine care and activities
Observe and report on patients' mood, health, and well-being
Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors
Communicate effectively with patients and health professionals
Required Qualifications:
Completion of Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire
Active directory status on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
Confirmation letter of enrolment from the Directory
Nursing students enrolled in approved Alberta nursing program
Proof of completion of minimum 100 hours of practicum
