Our Client is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in primary care network services to work in Sechelt. This role involves providing comprehensive healthcare services in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The location offers a mild climate and various outdoor activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records and engage in professional development activities.
Manage acute and chronic illnesses, prescribe medications, and provide referrals.
Offer patient education on health promotion and disease prevention.
Provide full scope primary health care services including mental health and substance use support.
Assume a patient panel of 650 over the contract duration.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner.
Current registration and licensure with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a recognized regulatory body.
Proficiency in electronic medical records and healthcare technologies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
