Description:

Community Living Cambridge (CLC) is seeking a temporary full-time Behavioural Therapist for a ten-month contract. The role involves providing assistance and direction to staff in the area of Behavioural Support Services. The Therapist will respond to organizational needs related to behavioural issues, support plans, and incidents while upholding the values and policies of CLC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in developing and reviewing behavioural support plans
  • Collaborate with Managers in staff training
  • Maintain positive relationships with external agencies and community professionals
  • Participate in team meetings and assist in problem-solving
  • Facilitate workshops and provide training to staff
  • Monitor and evaluate Behavioural Support Plans
  • Orientate and train new employees
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of diploma in Autism and Behavioural Science or related field
  • Experience working with Adults with Disabilities
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavioural Analysis
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Current Vulnerable Sector check

    As a Behavioural Therapist, stress is inherent in the role due to interactions with individuals and families in stressful situations.

    Working Hours
    Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and be part of the crisis team on rotation.
