Description:

Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join their team. BCHS is a two-site hospital system in Brantford and Paris, Ontario, dedicated to providing excellent care to the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Diagnostic Ultrasound procedures and working collaboratively with the team.

Reporting to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, the ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Diagnostic Ultrasound procedures following policies and guidelines

Work independently and collaboratively within the high-volume Ultrasound Department

Mandatory Qualifications:

Current registration with CMRITO as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS)

Demonstrated technical competence and commitment to patient care

Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Criminal Record Check required

Current registration with Sonography Canada preferred

Core Competencies:

Demonstrated commitment to professional development

Excellent attendance record

Safety is a priority at BCHS

Reliable individual with excellent attendance record

Experience in a fast-paced Diagnostic Imaging Department preferred

Current B.C.L.S. Certificate preferred

Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging you will be responsible for performing Diagnostic Ultrasound procedures in accordance with the policies and procedures and College guidelines and Standard of Practice.

The Ultrasound Department is a highvolume department. We are seeking a technologist who can work independently as well as be an intricate part of our team.

Mandatory Qualifications

Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)  Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS) required
 Demonstrated technical competence and a commitment to quality patient care
 Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
 Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organization
 Criminal Record Check required
 Current registration with Sonography Canada preferred.

 Excellent attendance record
