As a Cardiology Technologist I, you will prepare patients for non-invasive cardiac testing and analyze test results to generate reports for physician interpretation. You will also educate patients on procedures, collect client history, and provide expertise in equipment set-up and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will precept new staff, orient students, and serve as a clinical resource for cardiology technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for non-invasive cardiac testing

Precept new staff and orient students
Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients regarding cardiology technology
Required Qualifications:
Completion of certificate from an accredited school of Cardiology Technology
Active or eligible registration with the Alberta Society of Registered Cardiology Technologist (ASRCT)
Active or eligible registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists Cardiology Technology (CSCT)
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP)
