Description:

We are seeking a compassionate caregiver for a 63-year-old woman in Mississauga, Ontario, who is experiencing memory changes and cognitive challenges. She needs support with daily activities, companionship, and motivation to stay engaged. The client speaks Spanish as her first language and has limited English proficiency due to her cognitive decline.

Schedule:

Starting with two visits per week on flexible days (Tuesday and Thursday preferred), from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Schedule may increase to four days per week for 2-3 hours daily as the relationship develops. Weekday support is a priority as the client is alone during the day while her husband works.

Pay & Hours:

CAD$27.00/hr

CAD$108.00/week

The client experiences memory changes, delusions, and paranoia. She may hear voices and believe neighbors are talking about her. The caregiver will need to provide daily supervision and encouragement to participate in activities. The client has expressed interest in exercise and going to the gym. Organizational support for the house is also required as the father works full-time and is overwhelmed.
