Description:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) I, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. You will operate in specialized, highly technical environments of Nuclear Medicine, assessing patients, analyzing and interpreting diagnostic data, and providing information to assist in diagnosis, clinical intervention, and patient management. Our dynamic Diagnostic Imaging team offers efficient and safe services across all shifts and on-call as required. Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing Nuclear Medicine procedures using a wide range of equipment such as gamma cameras, computers, ECG monitors, and radiation safety devices.
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of diploma from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) Program.
  • Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).
  • Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Nuclear Medicine Technologists -- Lasix certification as required.
  • ACMDTT Enhanced practice authorization for PET/CTSPECT/CT.
  • ACMDTT Enhanced practice authorization for Contrast Media Injections.
  • N95 fitting.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years Nuclear Medicine/PET experience.
  • Connect Care Training preferred.
