They are currently seeking an Admissions Advisor to represent their medical universities and assist students in pursuing medical education.

Job responsibilities:

Daily correspondence with prospective students.

Assessing student needs and providing tailored guidance.

Guiding students through the MD application process.

Providing advising on admission requirements and academic programs.

Managing student applications and maintaining a database of inquiries.

Meeting enrollment targets and objectives.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years experience in consultative sales.

Understanding of North American education and healthcare systems.

Experience in recruiting domestic students preferred.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Location:

This is a hybrid position based in Toronto, Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Reporting Lines:

This position reports to the Associate Director and represents the university/college brand.

Position  
We are seeking an Admissions Advisor to join our team and represent our medical universities. In this role, you will provide personalized, oneonone consultations to prospective students exploring our Doctor of Medicine (MD) and PreMed programs. Your responsibilities will include assessing each applicant's academic background and career goals, offering tailored guidance, and evaluating student readiness for medical education. As an Admissions Advisor, you will play a crucial role in shaping future physicians by helping students confidently navigate their medical education journey.

Job responsibilities

• Daily correspondence via telephone and email with prospective students.

• Identify and understanding student needs via onetoone consultation.

• Provide a consultative service to all students, assessing requirements and making recommendations in line with individual needs.

• Serve as coach and mentor, guiding students through the MD application process, helping them strengthen their candidacy, and ensuring they are wellprepared at each stage.

• Work with prospective students, applicants, and their families to provide highquality advising on admission requirements, academic programs, and student life.

• Manage student applications from original inquiry through to application and support post application processes.

• Maintain a conversion rate on all types of inquiries from lead to a preevaluation, prescreen to application, and application to enrollment.

• Provide effective and professional written and oral communication with all prospective students.

• Manage a database (CRM) of inquiries and leads, recording all activity, student profiles, contact history and decisions and outcomes.

• Meet and exceed annual, monthly, and quarterly starts, referrals, targets, and objectives as per tenure expectations.

Requirements

Essential Criteria

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in consultative sales.

• A strong understanding of the North American education and healthcare systems.

• Experience recruiting domestic students (preferred).

• An undergraduate degree (preferred), with familiarity in sciencebased undergraduate programs considered an asset.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience with target, quota and KPI environment.

• Proven success in consultative sale and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process.

• Ability to serve as an effective academic coach, supporting students through complex, competitive application processes.

• Independent worker and able to work develop personalized business strategies.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong proficiency in English.

This is a hybrid position based in Toronto, Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered for this position.

This position reports to the Associate Director and will directly represent the university / college brand.
