Description:

HPHA is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist for their X-Ray department at the Stratford Site. The role involves performing various procedures using ionizing radiation and collaborating with the Senior Technologist and Student Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited Radiological Technology program, be registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario, and hold current CPR certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, and staff
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and continuing education
  • Act quickly and effectively in emergencies
  • Exercise courtesy and understanding in all interactions
  • React appropriately to critical situations and ensure patient safety
  • Qualifications:

  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists or Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences recommended
  • Previous experience in General X-ray an asset
