Canadian Mental Health Association Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services is seeking an Addiction and Mental Health Worker for their Withdrawal Management Program in St. Thomas, Ontario. This part-time, contract position requires providing crisis management and support to clients in a short-term residential setting.

The successful candidate must have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last six months. The starting rate for this role is $27.14 per hour, with potential wage differentials based on regulation and professional college registration. The work schedule consists of 14 hours over a two-week period, including rotating shifts.

Responsibilities include providing client-centered care, community development, program development, service navigation, education, referrals, and administrative duties. The candidate must also engage in community development, attend team meetings, adhere to policies, and support agency growth.

Qualifications include post-secondary education in a related field, demonstrated ability to attend work regularly, and preference for 2 years of work experience in mental health and addiction. Additional qualifications such as knowledge of psychosocial rehabilitation, clinical work experience, and First Aid & CPR training are preferred.
